House Jade Proxes using Games Workshop Minis

Since GW realised new line of wood elves we can use those minis as Chronopia Jade House minis proxes. Let's see what I'm talking about.

I'm starting with Individuals section.

YELLOW LOTUS EATER
Games Workshop realised 2 Female Spellsingers which are supposed to be mages. Lets take a look on them.

ASCENDED
There's only one mini I've found siutable for this character.

There's a time for warbands.

EMBRACED
Wardancers would be great proxes for Embraced. Just take a look! The only anoying thing is tat they have spears and swords rather than 2 swords. But you can simply cut of wooden sticks and use spear blades as swords.

MILITIA and SPEARMEN
And there comes time for something that is almost most effective in elven armies. Militia and Spearmen. We can buy Eternal Guards. They are some problems too with weapons and armour. We can use them as militia - but they have spears rather than helabards or we can use them as spearmen - but they don't have shields. So this will need basics conversions to use them in Chronopia world.

HEROES and LEADER
This is a nice idea to bring some character to your Spearmen units. If you have more than one unit you can easely recognize which unit is which by giving them different leader and standard.

ARCHERS
Nice unit of plastic archers. Fast way to collect lot of shooting boys. Nothing really special, but if you needlot of archers go for it. If you are willing to have only one unit of archers you can buy Waywatchers, as they are pritier.

OTHER UNITS
You can convert other units from those shown above or using parts from other minis like Wood Elf Lord on Eagle, Wood Elf Warhawk Riders, Wood Elf Wild Riders, Wood Elf Glade Riders which you will find on www.games-workshop.com. There is lack of Shields and Axes but you could easyly swap spear blades with axes making them two handed or cut of wooden sticks and glue shields for swordsmen. You can use a Warhaw rider to make a Thorn of the Lotus swaping his bow with blowpipe or even use one of lords or waywathers to represent this guy, of course this need converting.

MY POINT OF VIEW
Looking all over this units again, we got a nice army that is close to Jade House sheme but is far, far away from Chronopia World that we are used to. Ofcourse you can use only few minis from those shown and this would add a nice Character to your army. Anyway, new wood elves minis are quite nice as for GWs standards, but they look too stacic for me. And the main disadventage is that they don't fit the World of Ethernal Realms. Soon some more spots on Proxing Chronopia Minis.
